Domestic Violence Training Conference for Police Officers hosted by the HRP Victim Services Volunteer Association (VSVA).

This training will provide:
• an opportunity for Police Officers, who respond to Domestic Violence calls, to develop and strengthen response skills with both victims and offenders.
• hands on skill building using role plays, videos, and keynote speakers to help Police Officers engage in understanding responses to Domestic Violence.
• ways to recognize coercive control, understanding its impact on abusive domestic relationships, and best practices in responding to it.

*There is no fee for this two-day conference (includes lunch and breaks)however police agencies will be responsible for travel and accommodations.
